The Public Policy Project assists individuals, institutions and communities
to understand and influence policy and engage the policy making process.

The Public Policy Project

The Public Policy Project works with communities, institutions and individuals to provide an understanding of public policy and its importance. We teach how policy works, who decides, and how the decisions made today will help or hurt you tomorrow. Knowledge is power!

Principles

Our work is based on three principles:

  • Direct involvement of those impacted by decisions in the identification of issues and development of proposed solutions.
  • Direct participation of those impacted in the decision-making, implementation and management of the policies and programs that serve them.
  • Transparency of decision-making, financial and programmatic accountability by the organizations and institutions serving those impacted.

Services

The Public Policy Project provides critical and affordable public policy consulting, training, message framing and advocacy campaign management that will help you effectively act on your self-interest. We provide the critical tools for you to become an active citizen and the confidence to use them.

In addition, The Public Policy Project provides community leadership, cultural competency dialogues and training with an emphasis on working with communities of color and the organizations working in communities of color.
